Client: Holy Cross Catholic School, Hutchinson, KS
Context: Holy Cross Catholic School, facing the elimination of its computer teacher position, needed to equip its classroom teachers to teach digital citizenship for the first time.
Challenges:
Knowledge Gap: Teachers lacked familiarity with digital citizenship concepts and the Common Sense Education curriculum.

Building Knowledge: Providing an overview of key digital citizenship concepts and the Common Sense Education curriculum.
Boosting Confidence: Offering practical strategies and tips for effective classroom implementation.
Saving Time: Sharing ready-to-use lesson plans and materials to minimize preparation time.
Results:
Immediate Impact: The majority of participants expressed increased confidence in their ability to teach digital citizenship, as indicated by post-workshop survey results.
Long-Term Evaluation: Plans to assess the successful implementation of digital citizenship instruction in May 2025
Sharing Best Practices: The training package was shared with other schools in the district facing similar challenges.
